NEED DESPERATE HELP! How long does it pinch for weed and alcohol to be out of my blood and urine?
So the thing is,
I was at a party on Friday hours of darkness and I got pretty drunk and I smoked some weed.
This Sunday I had to get a blood examination and a urine one too. So, the test was was taken smaller quantity than 48 hours consuming.
I think one of the tests were in the region of lipids, which I'm concerned about because I know weed can be detected in the lipids.
Nonetheless, I also heard that pot or weed or doesn`t matter what could be confused with the use of ibuprofen, or something like that. I took the test above all because I've been having some fever for times gone by few days, and therefore I've been taking ibuprofen.
Am I doomed to get positive contained by the test??
Is the ibuprofen/weed thing true?
What about alcohol?
Thanks plentifully! I'm desperate! And I'm angry because I usually NEVER do these things, and just the day that I do them, I get a blood check.... Such luck is only mine......

None of the test were specifically for drugs use either.

Let me just kind sure I have this correct. You are actually going to the doctor because you have be feeling ill and have have a fever, is this correct? You are not going because of some kind of pre-employment, court mandated, or any other type of drug carrying out tests, correct?
If the above is correct, then the doctor is just drawing your blood to do some typical blood work, such as a CBC, a chem panel and possibly some hormone panels such as TSH level.
The urine will probably just be tested for some metabolic panels, creatnine levels (refer to kidney function) and also for any WBCs or RBCs that may be present surrounded by the urine.
When the laboratories run your blood and urine they only run it for the tests that your doctor orders. They do not purely take a blood or urine sample and stick it on an instrument or machine that spits out evey possible component and drug i.e. present. For every test the doctor orders, there are specific pieces of proven instrumentation, methodologies, etc. These instruments have to be calibrated, and to do this they are calibrated for individual the analytes (components) that are within the scope of the test ordered.
So I do not construe that your doctor would have ordered any drug analysis on your samples just because you hold some type of infection going on. The only reason they would do that is if your parent asked them too (If you are lower than 18).
If they do check it for drugs, then they will show up...but like I said, I doubt that will be the case. Source(s): Toxicologist
