Am i addicted to backache killer?
I have been taking vicodin for the past year or so, nearly 60, 5mg pills a month. I take max 4 a day, but usually its 2 because i dont want to take to much..I enjoy a huge tolerance, no withdrawl symptoms. I want them when i run out, and i just have mental cravings.
Help! Am i addicted, if so what do i do, can i overcome myself and cetch it before it get worse?
Answers:
sounds approaching you ARE addicted to them. you should NEVER have been on them for a year. seek relief from your doctor NOW. DO NOT quit "cold turkey" as it could cause a stroke. DO NOT play around with this, narcotics are dangerous. anyone addicted to them is like being addicted to heroin. i had a friend fall up going from percocet to vicodin to morphone and ended up a heroin AND crystal meth addict.
i think you are addicted. you have matching symptoms i had, i know it is hard to deal next to and all you want to do is take more vicodin. i got stale the pills by my friends giving me an intervention, (actually, many interventions). and they wouldn't let me be alone so that i couldn't buy any more pills. but, if i had to do it alone, resembling you, i would ween myself off of them, which would be extremely hard, or check myself into rehab. i have be clean for 6 months with an exception of a small relapse of 8 darvacets a few weeks ago. i hope everything works out for you because i know addiction is a horrible thing to budge through. but at the same time you like it. if you EVER have any question or want to talk about this, feel free to email me, you can find it on my profile page.

careful more or less how you quit. I know someone who ended up in jail because he rhythm up his neighbor. You will have zero tolerance for people around you. If you own the means check into a facility for people with addiction
At rate you are taking them, no, I don't think you are":addicted" to them. I suspect you are "habituated" to them and would be uncomfortable without them, but you are not going to move about through withdrawal with cold sweat, vomiting, stomach cramps, rapid heart overpower, high blood pressure etc.
I suspect you could quit any time you choose to.
