Pills for sorethroat put somebody through the mill?

I crushed the pills(for my sorethroat) hoping that It would make consuming it easier, but when i did, and i put it in chocolate drink( not the thick kind), it taste awful, double the taste. Is there any easier way to drink it minus tasting it as much as possible? And no, I can't get a new pill again.

Hopefully the pill is not a time release book -- because crushing it will cause all the medicaiton to be released at once, which is not a good entity. Assuming that you have a simple tablet such as aspirin, you can try putting it whole in some applesauce which might serve you swallow it easier, or crushing it and mixing it in applesauce.
