Anyone run blood pressure pills and iron supplement?
I take 250mg of methyldopa twice a day for high blood pressure. I also merely found out that I am an anemic and dr told me to start taking ferrous sulfate twice a day; also. the thing is I've heard/read some negative things nearly taking methlydopa / ferrous sulfate at the same time; like it would reduce the purpose of the blood pressure pill. I want to ask the doctor, but she's also duplicate dr who told me it wouldn't hurt to just stop taking metaprolol (another blood pressure medicine) and start taking methlydopa which landed me in the er. anyway. i stipulation both; the blood pressure medicine and the ferrous sulfate; any recommendations.
