Have I worn out anything by taking too much Ibuprofen?

I was very sick this past week from Friday-Tuesday. I took Advil Liquid gel to take away the pain from my headaches and my sore throat, and in good health as my body aches. I took 2 every 6 hours. It says not to exceed 6 pills every 24 hours. I would take pills at 6am, 12pm, 6pm, and 1am. I took it consistently for these five days..today my stool be darker. Is there any chance i dog-eared my stomach from taking too much advil? Should I be worried?

it is best to lay bad the pills for quite a while. ibuprofen can damage the kidneys. i think tylenol might own been better. eat a healthy diet and you should be fine
You are probably fine, but in the future you should alternate between ibuprofen and tylenol and make sure you drink something with the pills when you take it. Also, yes you can damage your stomach despite what some folks have said. Ibuprofen if taken too much and without food can eat away at the facing of your stomach.
