Is it possible to own surgery two days within a row?

like lets say you have surgery today, could you have it tomorrow?
or would they wait a day or a week or what?
Answers:
Depends on the situation.

There are instances where we take patients from the recovery room right put money on to the OR.

If it's elective surgery, you'll need to heal from the first before you experience the second. Source(s): I'm an anesthesiologist.
I'm no doctor, but I'd say that depends on the kind and severity of the surgery. I would think that a tolerant could have minor surgeries done one day apart. By minor, I mean something resembling removing a mole or lump from your skin, or maybe a small spot of skin cancer. Something more major, like abdominal surgery or begin heart surgery, would be more unlikely.
Depends on what the surgical procedures are for. In elective surgeries, waiting a few weeks is best. In emergency situations, it is done all the time.
It depends on the nature of the procedure and the patient's condition. I work in a surgical ICU where patients may own 2 or more operations within 24 hours. This may be due to emergencies or complications from in advance surgeries. Source(s): PA surgical / trauma critical care
It depends on the situation. Emergencies they will do anything they need to do. My mom had surgery and there be a complication that they needed a specialist for (needed to be done within a day but not immediately). That night she have the 2nd one.
