First, up to that time you worry about the cost of the heart surgery, you should have your doctors department call your insurance company to see what your policy covers and what it won't. After this you should have a much better Idea and I wouldn't worry much in the past that. Being as though Heart Surgeries are deemed Medically necessary, most insurance companies cover them with no problems. Also most companies will cover hospitalization and it's associated charges. There is a devout chane you might have to pay a deductible, which is now pretty much the norm, this could be anywhere from a $100 or smaller number to a couple thousand.

In the meantime, contact your insurance company. When you subscribed to there policy, you should of received a booklet or papers called a schedule of benefits, If you did not contact them and ask for one. Once you locate one, read it and try to integer out exactly whats covered and what isn't and what your deductibles or co~pays will be. If you still have questions call them and I'm sure they will know how to explain exactly what you need to know. Best of Luck and Health to you!
Why do you think that you have to reward some? Are you positive of this? It really depends on your insurance company. I had gallbladder surgery a couple years ago while under my parents insurance and the only piece they had to pay was a 100$ deductible that covered the complete year. So basically if I neeeded to go into the hospital again that whole year that would cover it. I get billed nothing else. Some insurance companies are different if they don't cover it all and its far too expensive the hospital will definitely assist them out, all hospitals have financial help advisors I've deal with these people for other things and they are very handy. My sister in laws brother had childhood brain cancer and it be just impossible to pay for all the chemo/surgeries beside their private insurance. So they applied for state insurance if your under 18 you'll definitely get it. Trust me in that are so many things out there to help your parents out. Don't stress yourself out everything will be beyond doubt fine and the hospital is not going to let your parents go broke over this trust me. That was simply 3 years ago since he's been recovered and they suffer no financial hardships at all. Everything will be fine :). Hang contained by there.
