Can i clutch concerta beside prednisone ?

my doctor prescribed me prednisone bc i have mono and my tonsils and throat are very infected and it hurts to swallow so this is going to help..i hear that prednisone makes u very hungry and eat everything and gain mass..anyway, i take concerta during the school year to help me concentrate. one of the effects of concerta is it lessen appetite..i want to take it with the prednisone to maybe contradict the hunger of that drug...is it past the worst to do this?
