Is acetaminophen the just chancy article within Pamprin?
I'm really freaking out right now.
I'm 16 and 140 lbs, if that means anything.
It said to only nick 8 pills at the most in a 24 hour period, 2 at a time at the most, every 4-6 hours. In the past, I have this figured out to 2 pills a dose every 4 hours, sleep eight hours (at least) undosed, and continue till my period be over.
But I went on a trip recently so I've had really bleak insomnia which means I've taken 12 in 24 hours. (But I haven't taken a dose in 12 hours now). I've be reading up on acet., and it seems like the point you should stop at is 4000 mg, and I stopped at 3000 before I realize how stupid I was. Is there any possibility that I could have overdosed, or that something else surrounded by the pills could cause complications for what I did?
Please don't answer unless you know something. I don't need any doomsayers to add to my freaking unnecessarily. (Though if you know where on earth I can go to get actual medical advice, it would be much appreciated. We don't own a doctor at the moment, so we'd have to go to the emergency room or something.)
It's hard for me to speak about if I have any actual symptoms or if I'm assuming my period-related stuff are overdose/warning symptoms in my state of mind.
Sorry for any sentence errors! I'm a touch too panicked to go back and proofread.
Answers:
Usually the first indication of an overdose is vomiting. This is your bodies inherent way to get rid of toxins as fast as it can. I doubt you overdosed, but if you start vomiting step to a dr. Tylenol can wreak havok on your liver.
