Is strong carotid pulse typical?
Answers:
I would have to answer yes to this, simply because my carotid pulses are strong, and all the other carotid pulses that I have feel have been strong as well.
Just somewhat tip, if you're going to palpate your carotid pulses, do one at a time. Palpating both of them at the same time can cause you to "vagal" (which means surpass out) because the blood supply to your brain will be cut off. Source(s): Pathophysiology
