Can I up my propranolol dosage?
I take 40mg a day ( 40mg tablet once daily ) for a commander tremor and anxiety I am finding that it isn't working as well at the moment, and I am still shaking.
would it matter if I started taking 2 tablets a day instead - so that'd be 40mg twice day after day so 80mg.
Would this make any difference to me at all? ... I have hear some people take 40mg 3 times a day for anxiety.

The maximum dosage of propanolol is much superior than 40mg a day. Some people take 320mg a afternoon for severe angina. For your particular problem, upping it might not help. Your doctor might choose to add a different drug fairly than Inderal. But to answer your question, eighty mg a day is not a large dosage of that picky drug, and doesn't hurt most people.
