What happen if I appropriate a Concerta Pill that expired contained by 2006.?
I have an old prescription of Concerta laying around and be wondering what would happen if I took 1? Would it still work they expired in 2006 and most important would it be nontoxic?

According to my pharmacology professor, expiration dates on non-antibiotic prescription pills are more for liability reasons on the pharmaceutical company's part than literal jeopardy. Yes, meds can lose effectiveness after a long period of time but in non antibiotics that time frame is usually MUCH longer than the expiration date. It is never dodgy (as long as it's safe for you to take the drug in the first place). A drug doesn't mutate into some unknown poison basically by sitting in your cabinet.
