ANyone try nucynta? Is it similar to Hydrocodine?

i have Chronicly severe back pain. just this minute my doc gave em a script for Nucynta (a new pain med on the market). I be using 7.5 hydrocodones to get relief (only at bedtime. the rest of the time i suffer)
Is it similar? more or less important? more or less potent? Euphoric feeling?

I was rxd this yesterday. I took it 3 times since yesterday. 2 yesterday, 1 time today.

I feel NO euphoric feeling and no pain relief. It cost me $86 WITH the best rx coverage that I can procure (Medco/United Health Care)

sorry i just found out roughly this pain reliever but hope to have my doctor give it to me to try. will tolerate you know.
i have had 3 surgeries on my back do to brass neck damage, nothing has help so far. i was on antidepressants for a year but again nothing helped.
i am organized to try anything at this point in time!
