What are some precautions an ambulance would hold beside someone who have an appendicitis...?
...but is in pretty bad condition? Like let's say the character is drifiting in and out of consciousness and has a high restlessness. If an ambulance was called to take them to the hospital, what would be some of the things the medics would do during the ride?
Answers:
A paramedic isn't allowed to diagnose anything. All we can distinguish is abdominal aching. Appendicitis isn't something we would "worry" about. A triple A known as Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm is really the most intense abdominal pain we should be concerned beside. However if you called 911 with a question on appendicitis a paramedic would-
1.We would put you on a cardiac monitor, 12 ECG (if possible at time)
2.Administer an IV ordinary saline
3.If the person is in severe pain we would pass them morphine.
All the while we are checking vital signs, and also maintaining your airway. We would administer oxygen depending on how your respiration's are .
