Can u filch robutussin cf and tylenol?
Answers:
YES..I AM A PRO AT THIS QUESTION I HAD TO TAKE ROBITUSSIN WHILE I WAS PREGNANT AND TOOK LOTS OF TYLENOL AND MOTRIN WITH. DR. TOLD ME TO SO I WOULD THINK IT WAS SAFE UNLESS HE IS TRYING TO KILL ME OFFF :) LOL
Look at the ingredients on the bottle. If it contains acetaminophen, then you shouldn't pilfer tylenol, as these are the same drug. If it doesn't, then it's OK. To my knowledge, Robitussin CF does not contain acetaminophen, so you should be fine.
You should be fine, as the ingredients don't interact.
However, don't take the Tylenol cold/flu combination medicine, because those contain the same/similar ingredients as the Robutussin, in which armour you might doubledose/overdose.
Also, don't take the Robitussin that contains acetaminophen, as the Tylenol contains acetaminophen already. You might double dose/overdose. Robitussin CF does not contain acetaminophen.
Just take the Robitussin CF(no acetaminophen) and regular Tylenol (acetaminophen only).
be unbelievably careful about the drugs you mix. If your doctor prescribed it, yes, otherwise I wouldn't advise it.
