16 mos.after openheart surgery I enjoy sharp pains on the not here?
left side of my chest when I sneeze, cough or laugh. MRI's indicate no problem. It hurts.
Answers:
There could still be muscles around your heart that are still healing and are tight from the incision and work they did on you next to the open heart. (your heart obviously being on the moved out side of your chest.)
Potentially muscular within nature? Sneezing, coughing, and laughing all utilize muscular movement. Stress test is OK? MRI is OK? Have you have a CT?
Are you short of breath? Do you have noticeable swelling in your legs or arms? Does discomfort radiate? Does pain cease or continue for a prolonged extent after sneezing, coughing, or laughing?
If the latter is true, see the cardiologist again, especially if pain is accompanied by shortness of breath.
If you are feeling blown stale, seek another opinion.

lets procure one thing out of the way i have no md but possibly it could be a chest infection? of really bad indigestion? sorry to hear about your recent problems and because of that i would say purely nip along to your G.P and ask there advice xx peace out xx
