Dna conducting tests on lately a locket of tresses can it be done?
Answers:
When you say, "dna testing", I'm going to assume you mean characterizing the DNA profile to match it against others or to characterize the karotype of the individual. The answer to both, is yes, it can be done from a lock of curls but only if the follicular cells are still attached to the hair's root. Those are the little white things you see if you pull a tresses out. Even then, it can be difficult to amplify the DNA but the techniques are getting better. Source(s): BSc.H Microbiology/Immunology
