Medicine modifying Humans Race?

I didn't notice this (we humans are altering our natural forms with medicine) until I saw a classified ad that said "look and feel like a teenager - Something that turns on a system within our body that prevents cells to age"
imagine all the other things we can turn on contained by our bodies to modify our selfs like modifying video games.

It's not quite that simple. With the increase in inheritance research over the last forty years there is a better understanding of how we age. So here is speculation that we could "turn down"or "switch off" the cellular ageing mechanism at a genetic level by altering the DNA coding of cells. But i.e. a long way off - maybe twenty to fifty years. The problem is that adjectives our cells are programmed to die. If they don't die, we don't live. Our fingers formed in the womb because the genetic code told our flippers - we all have flippers - to die off in a certain route so that we had four fingers and thumb at the end of our arms. So too does the lining of our digestive tract, adjectives the time and every six weeks or so; you have a new bowel lining - a bit close to a snake shedding it's skin. So death is an intrinsic part of life so the conundrum is: if we "switch off" release, do we also "switch off life"? Source(s): Medical profession.
