Increased unpredictability of side effects from medication?

for example, you are given two medications, A and B. do you have the same coincidence of having side effects if you take them at the same time as defiant taking medication A for a month then B a month later?

Well, first it would depend on what medications they be. The medications may interact when taken together resulting in symptoms which would not have be seen if they were taken separately at different times. Also, it depends on what you mean by side effects. If you tight the side effects associated with the drug's use on its own, then yes, you will see the same side effects (generally) if they are taken together or apart.
