Will DXM show up on a drug tryout?

If i were to get tested for drugs by my dad from a store bought drug test is in that a way DXm would show up like the one i have i be tested on before had sections for different kind of dugs but i dont remember if DXm was on it. thanks

If he bought it from a drug store, that thing is never gonna experiment for an OTC drug, it simply wasnt made for that reason. Most drug tests are looking for the usual marijuana, coke, narcotics, benzos, etc. DXM i believe is an isomer of the less popular opioid Levomethorphan (which could show up). So necessarily what I am saying is that the worst thing that could happen would be a false-positive for Levomethorphan, and you unquestionably didnt take that so I would not be worried.
So therefore, if you really only took DXM cough syrup, in that would be no problem here.
I seriously doubt it. Most drug tests only test for wrong or at least prescription drugs. Even if it does, and it shows up on the test, just make clear to him you drank too much cough syrup because you misread the label.
