Best A-Level For Medicine?
In your opinion, what is the best combination for A-Levels in order to attain into medicine school or in charge to get into a medical career.

Maths, bio and chem as i said in your other question. You could swap the maths for physics and there is some leniency contained by certain unis - you may not have to complete one of biology and chemistry to A2, you can keep it till AS at some med school but honestly maths bio chem A2 is safest Source(s): Med student
You will have to do Chemistry to A2, all medical schools expect it.
You would find Biology extremely helpful. There was a time when medical/dental schools said that it wasn't needed, but candidate who had not studied Biology found their first year very difficult since it assumes a basic rank of Biological knowledge.
The other subject isn't so important, but the traditional combination is Chemistry/Biology/Physics or Chemistry/Biology/Maths.
Go the the UCAS website and you be able to access the medical school and find out what they would prefer.
I've applied to study Medicine and basically the best subjects are Chemistry, Physics, Math or Biology. You involve 3 or 4 A grades basically, some Universities may accept AAAB.

biology/chemistry/physics, i think some accept maths as an alternative but i think u mostly want grade As to be able to get surrounded by as theres a lot of competition for places, check the requirements of yr chosen medical school.
