What's better for strep throat, Advil or aspirin or Tylenol?

It hurts! Been taking 4-5 Advil at a time to help but maybe one of the others would work better?

Strep throat is nothing to fool around with. There can be masses complications which involve the heart and kidneys. Rheumatic fever (which can destroy your heart valves) was adjectives in the pre antibiotic era and is due to strep infection. So, if it is a viral sore throat it will likely clear on its own but if it is strep it is important to treat it near plain old penicillin. If you can't afford a doctor go to a hospital emergency room. You may have to loaf a while but you will be seen at no cost if you can not pay. They can probably give you some sample of penicillin for treatment but penicillin VK is not that expensive.

PS: If your heart don't work you won't need the car.
If you truly have a strep throat you might entail to see your doctor for an antibiotic prescription. Alternatively you might try oil of oregano which is cheaper than an antibiotic prescription and possibly more effective.

Advil should be taken in the smallest dose possible--not four or five at at time. You should not exceed the recommended dose and follow the instructions on the sticky label.

Tylenol and aspirin are not good for the liver.
ibuprofin is the most effective article for sore throats if you have no trouble with an anti-inflammatory.
Try Excedrin. It's a mix of tylenol and aspirin. Be sure you don't overdose though! So space out the time you take the tablets before you take the next dose.

Tylenol is a better alternative though because it is an inflammation reliever.

Aspirin may generate your throat bleed if you've been coughing a lot because it thins your blood.
