Is the blood-donation voluntary contained by hospitals of US?

and why people like me get wobbly with a sight of blood?
Answers:
yh i think so
Blood donation is completely voluntary. Sometimes likely donors are rejected because of a history of disease (such as hepatitis B) or a high probability of infection (HIV).
In America We have "The American Red Cross". Yes is is 100% voluntary. That is where on earth we donate blood. The blood donated can save up to 3 lives. I donate each time I can because my blood is "magic" [ O Positive ]. So far, I gave over 2 gallons over my duration time.
As far as why people get "faint" at the sight of blood: I do not know because it does not bother me.
