Can anyone who works contained by a doctor's department report to me if doctors still push infallible birth controls for money?

I'm curious if there is a certain birth control of the "moment" if that makes any sense? Seems approaching everyone I talk to (including my own doc) wants to push Yaz on everyone. What is the deal next to Yaz?? Are they offering cruises for every prescription made?

BINGO. You would be surprised how these drug companies really push their products. A lot of doctors get comfortable prescribing one certain type of class of drugs (less for the doctor to remember like doses...). Doctors do not achieve drug kickbacks, but drug companies are always giving away swag to docs to try and get them to prescribe their drugs. Source(s): PA
If you hold a really ethical doctor, that won't happen. My brother ( a GP) and his partners decided that they feel that they were potentially being influenced by just that entity. So the got together and decided to not have any more drug reps contained by. Sure, they don't get the freebies, but they also don't have to spend all that time near the reps, and feel obligated to prescribe their medication. They seem to be pretty happy beside the situation.
