I'm getting a Tetanus shot tomorrow and I am afraid.?

What can I do so I don't like try to run away or cry or anything, because I'm not even going to say what happened closing time they tried to give me a shot 0.o. I mean I know it doesn't hurt but for some reason I merely can't be within 500 feet of a needle in need freaking out.

I do understand, there are alot of people who own a phobia of needles, you should tell the nurse that when you go in, and be paid sure that you can lay down and face the opposite direction. Have it so you never see the needle, and the entity that helps me is I tell the nirse not to tell me when shes doing it that means of access I dont tense up, because if you do get tense after you make it hurt worse then it needs to. So merely have her talk to you and they wipe the area near alcohol, and have her talk to you about something you savour like vacation, going to the beach, anything it is you relish doing. And then she will do it and you wont be expecting it. But I do not think you should go to the extent that you are going to kil yourself, explicitly not even logical. You need this for your health and you need to save that in mind. Good luck, im sure you will be just fine. Source(s): experience
Try to do some deep breathing/relaxation technique before you go in. It's adjectives mind over matter---just remind yourself it is for your health, and that it will only hurt for a minute. Treat yourself to something nice afterward (like an ice cream or a bit shopping trip) and then you'll have something nice to look forward to and focus on instead of the needle.
