CANCER QUESTION !!?
Now i'm sure theres a very reasonable answer to this but I question this anyways. Why can't doctors use ligase and DNA polymerase and nucleotide excision repairing to maniplulate and hence fix Genetic compositon or within this case a Genetic dissorder of the gene. Is this a method of gener therapy. I know that bacteria and evern eukaryotes do this inherently but why can't doctors use this to their advantage?

Because cancer is an uncontrolled growth of cells and it would be impossible to cut and ligase every single cell back together, by the time you do it to one, the cancer have already reproduced hundreds of thousands of times.
Even with a not so agressive cancer, it would still take approach too long. Cancer would've spread by time you did the whole procsess. Linette is right.
