What Type of Doctor Should I Be?
I would love a job diagnosing people and i would want to be able to do test, like mri, take blood, put up drips etc.
I dont really want to be a specialist, like cardioligist on heart of late general medicine, but what doctor is this, please help
oh yeah, i know that tv is far from sincerity
but what is closest to Dr. House's Job :)
Answers:
internal medicine
Dr. House is a diagnostician. Most hospitals don't collectively have them. All doctors have to diagnose people, and every once and a while take a tough case. Being a pediatrician (child doctor), intensivist (works in the Intensive Care Unit), or ER physician would mean that you don't purely work on one specific thing. They are more general practices. Source(s): Watching house (lol), having doctors within the family, research
Dr. House's job does NOT exist! If the only reason you're interested is medication is because of what you have seen on misleading television shows, consequently you need to wake up realize that that is NOT actuality! If you're sincerely interested in medicine, then you shouldn't even verbs about a specialty until you're in your third year of medical school!
Like a General Practitioner....they don't specialize in anything and thus they don't win paid as much as a CARDIOLOGIST or NEUROLOGIST, etc.
Get into a university and do good within pre med.
Score high on the MCAT, make it into Medical School than take sour from there.
Dr. House.....lol...not gonna happen
Grow up a little, acquire through college and into medical school, and then ask yourself what you want to do.
Finish med school first, people rarley extension up being what they want to after medical school. I wanted to be a familial doctor, and now I'm in my second year of psychiatric residency. Source(s): Med School
