You will be fine, though you might get an upset stomach or some diarrhea. However, you still need to cart the antibiotic for the same number of days; you need to call your doctor and procure him to prescribe enough extra medicine to replace the doubled doses. Source(s): I'm a physician.
Amoxicillin is just an antibiotic, so there is a low risk of overdose. Furthermore, you a moment ago took a double-dose.
You might get an upset stomach, nausea, diarrhea, nothing serious.
One thing you requirement to beware of is that you still have to take the antibiotic for the same amount of time (10 days?). So you will own to see the doctor/dentist and ask for a refill (tell him what you did).
Make sure you don't overdose on the Vicodin though, because that can cause permanent liver impair. Take the Vicodin exactly as it says on the bottle/bag/prescription.
Don't worry. The most you'll get is a tummy hurting. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic. It only kills bacteria. You hold about 4-5 pounds of those in your intestines (yes, they're supposed to be there). All that will happen is that a bunch of those will die but they'll repopulate swiftly enough.
as you know amoxicillin is an antibiotic...there is no big risk if you took the way you mentioned.....
you can get a mild fever or so...
to be locked in any case...drink lots of fluids
plz rate if you find this useful
