What's the motivation of a botched blood donation?
I've given blood three times in my life, the first two went excellent; bursting the required volume in 10-15 minutes.
The last time however, I wasn't expelling blood at all...I jam-packed half a bag (likely about 50 grams) within 10 minutes. The lady told me i have tough veins and that it's freshly not working, so we stopped and I was told my blood probably wasn't going to be used.
I was shocked and a bit upset. What happened? It took her ages to put in the needle, and the nouns bruised a lot afterwords (probably about 4x 2 inches on my left arm).
Was it my 'poor' vein or could it have to do with her needle insertion? Thanks profoundly, I want to go back in a couple months.

You have a bad phlebotomist, who was too ego driven to get backing, when she should have.
Don't let this dissuade you from this noble, voluntary work. Just make sure you don't let her do it again, although, if she is no better than that, I suspect she won't hold her job drastically long.
Wait a full eight weeks before attempting again. Source(s): I had that happen a couple of times, and I did and still do own great veins.
bad venipuncture. she obviously poked holes adjectives over the place; you bruised because blood leaked into the surrounding area.
