What anti depressants really work,unlike zoloft,prozac?

im a recovering meth addict,so im very depressed,all the time,and man a addict most doctors wont perscribe me instant relief pills {valium,xanax}they all want to perscribe me zoloft,prozac,saraquil..etc..none of these style pillshave help! ive taken some of them for months,and no relief! .so im wondering what anti depressant,can a person actually grain instantly,that a doctor will perscribe to a recovering drug addict,im not looking for a buzz,just some comfort,and relief,from this horrible depression,and emptyness,tiredness!! please if anyone know,please send me a list to try and ask my doctor about!!

I take effexor xr and it really help me. I have tried the other meds that you have taken for depression, and those have not help me. My Dr. highly recommends that medicine.
