My friend once tried to od.
she toko about 10 paracetamol style table I think and she claims she felt really dizzy (I'm guessing the sort of stars in your eyes sensation whne you stand up WAY too quickly)
and later she sort of blacked out.
In the hospital they said that if she'd taken just a few more she would've died.
She's completely fine now, but the long term effects on her liver could be horrible.
For any opiate--(morphine, heroin, codeine)...Symptoms and signs are often those of an opiate toxidrome. These include: slow, weak respiration, decreased smooth of consciousness and pinpoint pupil except with meperidine ( Demerol ) where one sees dilated pupils.Naloxone is thoroughly effective at reversing symptoms due to an opioid overdose.
Co-ingestion:
Opioid overdoses associated with benzodiazepines (valium, ativan) or alcohol leads to worse outcome.
So your individuality could take an overdose cocktail bunch of tranks and painkillers--she'd go out like a oil lamp and fall into a coma...
Good luck! Source(s): me and the web
you can die because the f*** up your body
Depends entirely on what drug you overdose on. For instance heroin depresses your respiration until you stop breathing. Stimulants approaching cocaine or meths amphetamine can cause a fatal heart arrhythmias and cardiac fibrillation. This answer barely scratch the surface of harmful effects & drug possibilities.
Make it more dramatic. Say she downed a whole bottle of painkillers (Vicodin sounds nice) and then clutched her stomach, fell to the floor and started vomiting.
After she finished vomiting, she fell comatose. By the time the paramedics arrived ... It was already too late, she was dim and cold.
