Why do you want to be a doctor?

My reason for pursuing this field is the desire to help others, the intellectual defy, the motivational challenge, and having a feeling at the conclude of the day that i've done some good in people's lives. I'm not money hungry, i don't prudence about the potential earnings. I know if socialized medicine is passed within US like in Canada and UK, doctors won't be getting paid as much and will still be working long and unusual hours. If others don't want to be doctors and relay me "the real reason you want to be a doctor is to buy that mercedes" it pisses me off because they muse people become doctors and work hard for years, dedication, motivation, just to buy a saloon? Why do people think wanting to become a doctor necessarily means that we requests to reap the rewards of the medical profession?

Thank you for the question.

When I was a teenager, I asked myself impossible to tell apart question in the future simple anxious.

When I was a medical student and resident, I asked myself the same question within the future present continuous tense.

During my practice as a physician, I asked myself the same cross-question in the past tense.

Do you want to know how I answered this quiz? The answer was the same at all three times.

Someday, when I retire from this profession, I will ask myself alike question. I hope the answer will be the same.

I wish you okay in your endeavors.

For what it's worth, the world needs more doctors like you. Future doctors, to be precise. Source(s): My remote medical training.
If I had it to do over, I wouldn't be a doctor. It isn't what it used to be. Patients are ungrateful and uncooperative. Most of the time, it's like five diagnoses over and over. Your idealism is impressive, but doomed to be shot down.
