Damage from taking too various sleeping pills?
I took 12 OTC (I assume) sleeping pills when I was ignorant about their danger in HS. I want to know what kind of consequences this may have have on my health and also would a doctor be able to tell me to what extent I worn out my body in this way by performing some sort of tests?
Answers:
OTC sleeping pills that enjoy acetaminophen pain reliver added to it are the most risky things to take.
Acetaminophen is the active ingredient contained by Tylenol and many other pain and sleep/pain products. Alcohol makes acetaminophen toxicty worse.
In standard most OCT sleep products (those without acetaminophen or other pain reliever added) have antihistamines as their moving ingredient.
The safest antihistamine for this purpose is diphenhydramine, there are few side effects other than a hangover feeling next to high doses. This presumes no glaucoma or prostate problems. It can impair memory especially in old society.
good for you to figure out that is injurious for the body to overdose with sleeping pills.
remember that anything in excess is bad. sleeping pills works by sowing the handling of active hormones in your body, if you take too much of these, your body metabolism will slow down and eventually shut down!!
so you better consult a doctor since taking again OTC sleping pilss.
hope that helps ...
