Answers:
Yup...and it is toxic to the liver and can lead to loss....
"Overdose" anyone the key word here, Tylenol has been shown to explanation death in people who whip too many pills, but those are cases involving children, like all other drugs, if Tylenol is taken contained by large quantities, can cause form problems, why? because like every other drug out their...it is a toxin that works in low quantities.
Tylenol (acetaminophen) has a fraction of it converted into a cell toxic substance(NAPQI). Since the liver is where on earth the reaction occurs most of the toxicity occurs near.

The liver has a store of glutathione that can neutralize NAPQI and can make more to replace it but it can only do so much.

Once glutathione stores are depleted cell start getting killed off, liver mostly then (depending on the dose) the gut and kidneys, ect.

Previous drug and alcohol use can increase liver toxicity. To read aloud that such and such a dose is safe is not really accurate, it depends on the person's history. For example maximum daily doses for 3 weeks have kill a 19 year old woman.

Liver toxicity is silent, it can occur bit by bit over time and add up, but you would not know from the Tylenol commericals that acetaminophen is a foremost cause of liver failure leading to release in the western world.

The link above is from a drug company, so I suspect that the dose considered overdose is underestimated.
