Can i be a doctor and enjoy a time (family)?

I'm now in my final year of BSc psychology (in UK) and i would like to train as a doctor (either GP or psychiatrist). I really want to do it in actuality. I've been working out finances, entrance grades etc and i can manage it all. My one and only worry is that if i do that i'm not going to be able to find time to marry and have a people. I guess i would just like to know that it's possible.
Answers:
I'm a US physician, and I'm married with 3 kids. Most the docs I know are married, near families. Don't the doctors you know have families? Of course they do.

I've hear the working hours are a bit better in the UK than they are in the US, so you should have no trouble at adjectives.

Good luck.
Of course it's possible! I am sure if you want it enough you can handle it :)
