My dream is to become a doctor, but i hold this problem...?

my dream is to become a doctor to save someone, but then again i just hear about the presure put on you when you are a doctor and that the person's life is on your hands... this is kinda helding me rear but i really want to help people and become a doctor... i'm 13...

should i let this held me stern or should i still try to become a doctor?

Since you're only 13, don't worry so much something like that. Instead, work on doing your very best in school so that when it is time for better education, you'll have the grades to go to university and study to be a doctor or anything else you might become interested within.
If you really think you can't handle the pressure of holding someone's natural life in your hands, then possibly it's just that you don't want to be a surgeon or ER doctor. You are also 13 and when you're older you may feel more competent to handle the pressure.
I've also wanted to be a doctor for a long time but I had like peas in a pod problem. I'm going to school right now to be a forensic pathologist (the person who does autopsies). I hold a weird fascination with disappearance and how things go from alive and thinking one minute to completely empty the next. I also don't enjoy to worry about accidently killing someone, which I know that, one-sidedly I couldn't handle.
Don't let your fears hold you back but if by the time you're within college and on the way to getting that PHD you REALLY don't think you can handle it next think about other avenues that you like. Maybe you want to be a standard practitioner or an OBGYN.
Don't verbs. You'll have a good 10 or 12 years of med school to amount that one out. Just do good in school.
same piece with me but i'm 17 lol and when a person's life is in your hand, think about how happy it would be once you retrieve them. Everyone dies, and everyone makes mistakes, even though its a big mistake, you won't live with the person's death haunting you forever, but it can be rather sad. So follow your dreams!
As you mature, your perspective will change. I enjoy individual of some service to people and the profession, but doctors don't save lives: they only postpone the inevitable. And the pressure isn't that great: If you're dealing near a critical illness or injury, it's the patient, not you, who has the big problem.
One of my professors contained by medical school gave words of wisdom that enjoy stuck with me for over thirty years, and I'm sure every one of his students was just as impressed. "Medicine is really not that rugged. There are only two parts. First, do no harm. Then, do the right thing."
I'm a first year medical student so my 2 cents is...No, don't let things hold you back from being a doctor. If you can turn to college, take the MCAT and be accepted into medical school lug advantage of it. Everything else you need to quit worrying about.
When you become like a surgeon or a plastic surgeon.
You sign a contract with the patient to ensure yourself that you will not bring sued.
Plastic surgeons sign contracts with the patient to ensure themselves that they will not be sued if their patient does not appear what he or she have thought.

hope this helps...become a docotr...live your dream.
