Have you ever hear of someone taking psilocybin while pregnant?
Please read the question before answering it. I am not advocating that anyone do this, and I intuitively would never do it. Please do not answer with a lecture on why it should not be done. I agree it should not be done, and you will be preaching to the choir. What I am ASKING is if anyone ever has done it and what the effects be. This is just curiosity, nothing more.

As an illegal drug, this have never been formally studied. However, it is known that the LD50 for psilocybin is about 280 mg/kg surrounded by rats (that is, if a group of rats are all fed that dose, half will die). Administered intravenously within rabbits, the LD50 is 12.5 mg/kg. The lethal dose in humans is undocumented.
Psilocybin makes up something like 1% of the weight of the fresh mushroom, so a 60-kg person would need to ingest in the region of 17 kg of fresh mushrooms (or 1.7 kg of dried mushrooms) to reach the 280 mg/kg threshold.
