Is it typical to hold increasing calf stiffness even after rehydration?
Almost 2 weeks ago I got dehydrated. I corrected the problem by getting enough fluids and replacing electrolytes right away. However, my calves are still really tight and are getting worse. I enjoy been massaging and heating them to try and placidly stretch them. But even after I went swimming last night, they be worse when I got home. They also hurt. Any idea why they would be getting worse?? Thanks.

So you carried out your rehydration therapy on your own? I would ponder that you may still be quite low on potassium, as this is a root cause for muscle cramping. So you may not have corrected the hyrdation issue as powerfully as you think you have.
I would take some magnesium and I would also hold some potassium. You can actually just eat bananas for the potassium. You may also turn ahead and grab some rehydration drinks from the pharmacy, not Gatorade or anything like that, something in the actual pharmacy division (similar to Pedialyte-but for aults). If you ask the pharmacists he/she will point you in the right direction.
If this contines to get worse, especially with taking the above, next I suggest getting to a doctor as soon as possible, as you may need some IV fluids and some more targeted medication. Or you may have another issue or underlying condition that is cause your symptoms.
