simple answer... they take higher levels afterwards .5 and they get better effects also if .5 is to much for you try breaking it in half and taking smaller number or if theres a lower version ask your doctor for those
Well to start off with, every drug compound can effect inhabitants in different ways, meaning that some patients may respond in the typical channel as listed in the drug facts, some may respond in a total oppisite bearing as listed in the drug facts and then here are some that may have no response at all, as if they took nothing more than a sugar pill.

Because Xanax (Alprazalem) is contained by a class of drugs known as Benzodiazipines, it is a type of sedative hypnotic, meaning it's prevalent goal, along with all of the others inside the Benzo class, is to sedate the patient. This is why it is typically perscribed for anxiety disorder, panic disorder and contained by some cases sleep disorder. So it is really quite typical for you to be experiencing the symptoms that you described. Xanax is considered to be the weakest in the benzo class, so this is probably why your doctor gave you this drug first. However it may be that you are of late extra sensitive to the drug or the entire drug class, and that is why your systemic effects are so undesirable to you. I may suggest cutting the dose in partially and trying that. It may be that you just need a lower dose. One in which your anxiety issues will be controlled, and your side effects will be minimized. I would also suggest speaking to your doctor if reducing the dose does not work, as he/she may be to try you on a different drug within the class, or a different drug completley.

Yes, all drugs in the benzodiazipine class do pose the risk of dependency, freshly as any drug class that effects the brain chemistry. However if the patient uses the drug as perscribed and is always honest with their doctor around tolerance build up, side effect changes, etc., then this risk can be kept in check.

Many relatives enjoy this drug because it gives them a euphoric feeling. It make them relaxed and feel good. In many cases these inhabitants who are using the drug illegaly, use it in combination with other drugs, both illegal and permissible. Similar to a heroin/coke addict. They take the heroin to get that tranquillizing effect and then take the coke with it to still hold the upper effect, so that they can experience both at the same time.

Again it is all subjective to the person and their specific physiological receive up. This is why some people become addicted to opiates only, some get addicted to alcohol, some receive addicted to cocaine, etc. If everyone responded in the same manner to every drug, afterwards all addicts would most likely be addicted to duplicate drugs and also we would not have multiple different drug compounds within the same drug class to get out the same basic function such as the Benzo class which contains Alprazalem, Diazapem, Lorazepam, Clonazapem, etc.). Like having 5 cars that adjectives are meant to reach the same lapse point, but they just take slightly different routes to get nearby. Source(s): Toxicologist
