How do you become an E.R. doctor?

When you go to med school, what determines whether you are able to become an E.R. doctor? Thanks.
Answers:
try your local school's Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) courses. Ambulance personnel deal beside routine trauma as well. ER doctors may require residency or internship at hospital (5-10yrs). Source(s): modesto jr. college
You specialize in emergency medicine. If you think you'd approaching that sort of career, consider becoming a military doctor. You will get more experience dealing with crucial trauma faster in the Army than anywhere else in the world!
Towards the call a halt of medical school, each student arranges interviews with residency programs of his choice. In this overnight case, you might pick a half dozen or so emergency medicine residencies and go hold a look. Then there's "The Match," with each student putting down his "dream sheet" of which programs he'd prefer, and each residency register its choices of interviewees it would like to have, in establish, and the matching program comes up with who goes where on earth. The lists are blinded, so the residency programs have no way of knowing if you put the one you're matched beside as number five on your list, and vice versa, so it's pretty painless. And more than 90% of students are matched someplace. The residencies are three or four years in duration. Then all you enjoy to worry about is your ABEM boards but you can start work before you appropriate your boards.
First of all, go to college and hold 3 A-levels:
Biology
Chemistry
Maths
Go to university and study medicine at many of the med schools
etc
im hoping to do this too!
Good Luck!!
