How tons MG of hydrocodone, specifically Vicodin, does it lug to OD and die on?
Okay so my friend is a real druggie, and he's already getting help, so an intervention by me has be tried and has failed and is no longer necessary because I deem he's in good hands very soon, but anyway, how many mg of vicodin does it take to od and die on because i really want to tell him lately to make sure he stays below that limit. He's 15. I can't talk any other sense into him but I chew over he'll listen to reason if it involves staying away from death. Thanks everyone.

my friend has been addictied to hydrocodone for awhile and he pops up to 8-10 a daylight of the 10mg (strongest) and hes fine but he recently had a seizure cuz of adjectives the coke and hydrocodones he was taking. im guessing you would have to take 12-15 adjectives at once to OD

If the vicodin is causing diarrhea, or vomiting, be sure he replaces the electrolytes lost. At his age he can probably slip by (more serious with the extremely frail and real young), but why risk. Ask doctor, but for starters, if he has that, make him comfortable contained by coming to you and Gatorade is one start. For Diarrhea, to control it, ask doc for meds or get over the counter; Ead bananas, rice and toast Source(s): Diet direct from an Internest. Gatorade is used to replace the above mentioned missing chemicals.
Let the professionals deal beside it. You say he is getting help. Did it occur to you that you are doing two things. First, you are wise saying it's okay to use so long as he doesn't OD. And second, you are telling him how to OD. If he is tired of being an addict, he may see dying as a method out.
With a lot of drugs, it depends on the person, size, how much their body is used to, how fast they are found, etc.
Instead, a short time ago let him know you don't want him to use at all, that you miss the way he used to be and that if he continues, you can't be his friend any more.

vicodin is made of two drugs. hydrocodone and acetaminophen. hydrocodone is a narcotic that can give you euphoria (high) and acetaminophen is the active ingredient in tylenol. when put together, they work better as a headache killer than separate. when someone overdoses on vicodin, the problem lies in the nonnarcotic part of the drug, the tylenol side. you can merely have 4000mg of tylenol a day, otherwise you could get acetaminophen poisoning. in attendance are 3 or 4 strengths of vicodin, each with a different combination of hydrocodone/acetaminophen. regular vicodin has 5mg of hydrocodone and 500 mg of tylenol. that channel you can have 8 a day due to the tylenol content. as for the hydrocodone, there is no set toxic dose of hydrocodone, although a high dose could make your body "forget" to breathe and give you one HECK of a overnight case of major constipation. make sure you're there to support your friend and try to give support to him whenever he feels he needs the pills. i work in a pharmacy and see infantile people who i KNOW are drug abusers. that life leads to difficulty and pain. i've seen it so many times and its Truly discouraging.
