How in the blink of an eye is vitamin K obsessed and competent to adaptation protime?

I'm on coumadin and I was wondering how quickly vitamin K can effect my pt/inr? If I were to own a bowl of broccoli soup at lunch by dinner would I have thicker blood or would it take days etc...

It takes more than a couple of hours. If I furnish a patient oral Vitamin K to reverse their coumadin, it takes at least overnight.
