Why does adjectives the Excedrin PM or any of them trade name me super hungry?

Whenever I take them and start to get sleepy I get super hungry and get through tons? 10 Points for most helpfull

Excedrin is a combination of Tylenol and diphenyhydramine.
Side effect of diphenyhydramine (antihistamine) helps you to fall asleep but it also causes you to hold good appetite. You may gain weight by taking too many PM medication.
