What chemical does doctor use when they are taking bad the lint from your hadened hurt module?

I saw doctor get rid of the bandage from hardened hurt part using some chemical.(It be painful anyway)
What is it? What does it do?
Answers:
A lot of the time, it's just sterile water or saline, to verbs the bandage (it's rarely actually glue on the wound)
There are some special solvents that are used to help dissolve the glue on bandage. It depends on which bandage glue was used originally. They're not 100% effectual, either. Source(s): I'm a physician.
Alcohol will nicely dissolve the adhesive, I used it to remove a surgical lint from my mom last weekend.
