Question give or take a few Codeine Phosphate overdosing?

I am studying human biology at College,and have chose to write about the effects of certain potentially addictive allowed drugs such as morphine.

I cannot,however,find out how long it would take the average person to die if given a lethal dose of Codeine Phosphate (I own found out that the toxic dose is 240 mg (8 capsules); lethal dose 0.5-1 g - if this is wrong,please correct me)

I have looked everywhere!

Right, here are no studies to determine how long it takes a person to die after taking a lethal dose. An overdose of codeine will lead to a decrease in the respiration rate, once it reaches a critical stratum and the person develops hypoxia, death would occur surrounded by 30 to 60 minutes once cardiac arrest happens.
