Just be aware abiding drugs interact with others and/or can effect the effectiveness of them.
The best person to ask is your doctor who is qualified to know.
And as the human being above says ecstasy physicall effects your body - heart rate etc so this is another factor.
I can't see that smoking weed would effect warfarin anymore than 'normal' smoking. I'd guess it would just increase the carbon monoxide levels contained by your blood. As for E I think I'd be a bit more wary. Increased heart rate puts more pressure on your heart, which in turn can head to increased blood pressure.
Personally would say the weeds fine but lay off the pills.
warfarin... isnt that a rat assassin?!
i dunno, ask yer doc
warfarin is a take lone drug if highly needed. Its a bloodclotbuster and is used in small doses for rat poisons even to clean medical catheters. So i would not play beside my life like that at all!
I am on warfarin for life span as well and I have done the weed but not the E since my valve replacement. So, instinctively I like to think none of those will have any effect at adjectives but that's bit like living in lala-land ain't it?
I'm sure your INR will tell you if your regular intake of weed have any negative effect at all. What I know (and I've done endless research since my op and my undying urge to smoke a common before) is that any cigarette smoked is likely to cause a slight change surrounded by your INR. Now because you've been on warfarin for a year now which makes your weed and warfarin intake roughly as regular as it can be, I'm sure your doctors will have adjusted your INR to the right level. Remember the trick just about warfarin is that your diet and everything else you do with it has to be regular - which is why when I started to have a few beers every week, I preserve to it and can't go binge drinking because that'll put the INR over the edge.
As for E, I'd think it does more of a gloomy thing on your heart than your blood. But since warfarin interacts with almost everything that can be called drug, the easiest road you can find out (without having to ask the doctor who will obviously give you the evil eye) is to diary yourself an INR check a couple days after you done the E. If it puts your INR way over the top you might like to bring your E intake to the really down low.
P/S If and when you do find out that E doesn't really affect INR, do let me know so I can pop one or 2 on the uncharacteristic occasion!
