It has been immediately two generations of kids thru public schools where we do not educate propaganda, how to recognize, how to ask for sources and how to spot slanted words... in your case The Big O.
It is an actual scream to see some old lady stand up and shriek against management health programs, then say, "And goddamn you guys, don't touch my Medicare !" (she have no clue this is a government run program, the poor dear.)
So, we are dealing with uneducated relatives, scare tactics from the rich, Republican right, outright lies by the Republicans, and no guts on the part of oodles Democrats.
It is truly sad when I see some old lady holding up a sign that she desires "No Nazi Death Panels". And yet her private for profit provider denies treatment all the time. "Too expensife" "You don't qualify" "The procedure is experimental, so we won't pay for it" it go on and on.....
Where did this poor women get these ideas?

Personally, I'll for sure take the government care Ted Kennedy, John McC, and other US senators receive.... any light of day, hon, any day.
And I wouldn't expect it for free either.... just competently delivered, without someone making a big profit on my premium.
