If you don't feel comfortable asking your doctor or his/her nurse call the hospital that you use and ask to speak to the social worker. They've got a richness of information and resources. Or go back to the nursing station where you be as an inpatient and ask to speak to your favorite nurse.
I used to go into a couple chatrooms about five years ago. I was other so upset when people would ask for medical advice in those rooms ... and even more upset that associates would give it!
