Does a Nurse brand name more money next to a BSN, a bit than an Associates Degree at an entry rank?

Just wondering if I should go the extra time to college to get a BSN, thanks
Answers:
Usually not, but in attendance are quite a few positions you might want later that would require the BSN, not to mention the possibility of your wanting to move to a master's-level position later. It isn't the start but the advancement where on earth you'll see the major differences.
I have worked many hospitals over the years (travel nurse) and most don't income any different for either degree anymore. Most used to, but times have changed. The one and only ones I hear of now that do are university teaching hospitals. Don't know the logic in that, but you basically have to check around.
It varies. The best way for you to find out is to contact the human resources departments of hospitals or other potential employer that you would be interested in working for and ask them. Source(s): RN
