Answers:
1] Technically, anything outside prescribed or recommended dose is an Overdose.
2] 5 tablets in 2 and 1/2 hours is waaay too much.
3] don't ove-rmedicate yourself - alternat Tylenol 3s [ as prescribed ] beside motrin halfway to next dose time, or go final to doc and get re-evaluated.
What are you taking them for? Source(s): RN
tylenol is not dutiful for your liver, i can tell you that. i avoid taking it, especially in excess, but i don't think you ODed, still, you shouldn't embezzle it on an empty stomach. not only is the dosage 'stronger', but it can upset the various juice within your stomach and stir up gasses. if you really don't feel good and verbs having pain, you should definitely see a doctor or christen that number on the back of the tylenol bottle and ask some questions.

hope i helped!:) Source(s): ancient experiences, the internet, and my database of random, useless knowledge
Well first off, you shouldn't be chewing them, you should swallow them with a full cup of water. Second, did you have a full meal (or anything) until that time taking them? If you didn't, that's probably where the pain came from. After you ate lunch, your body have enough time to process food with the tylenol and got you put money on to normal.

Just make sure to read all of the instructions on the bottle, RX, etc.
No. Tylenol 300 mg X 3 tablets at a time means 900 mg acetaminophen or paracetamol. It is not overdose.

Overdose of paracetamol/acetaminophen, you may have no symptoms from taking a toxic amount for up to 24 hours after taking a toxic overdose of acetaminophen.

After this initial spell, the following symptoms are common:
Nausea, Vomiting, Not feeling well
Not competent to eat or poor appetite
Abdominal pain"
Yes you overdosed.

Tylenol is one of those drugs that lead to many deaths because people don't steal it seriously.

"Soon after taking an overdose of acetaminophen, you may have no symptoms from taking a toxic amount. You may remain symptom free for up to 24 hours after taking a toxic overdose of acetaminophen.

After this initial period, the following symptoms are common:
Nausea
Vomiting
Not awareness well
Not able to eat or poor appetite
Abdominal pain"

"The antidote to acetaminophen overdose is N-acetylcysteine (NAC). It is most powerful when given within 8 hours of ingesting acetaminophen. Indeed, NAC can prevent liver failure if given early plenty. For this reason, it is absolutely necessary that acetaminophen poisoning be conventional, diagnosed, and treated as early as possible."
I hope you're alright. If you keep this up you could be liver shopping before too long. Source(s): http://www.emedicinehealth.com/acetamino…
